The GRAB LIFE Podcast – S1E9 – All Things IBS w/ Lottie Drynan

It’s NEVER OK to ask a woman if she’s pregnant – & with IBS we actually look 6 months pregnant a lot, which shows that a bump may not be what you think it is. This is something discussed in today’s podcast episode.

An episode very close to my heart about all things IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I chat withΒ @lottiedrynan – formerly The Tummy Diaries on Instagram – for The Grab Life Podcast episode today 😍

I’ve been quite vocal and public about my IBS over the past month or so on social media. Something I will continue to share as and when it affects me (which luckily is no longer all the time).

But there was a time when it was all I thought about. When I felt horrible. When I didn’t know what was going on and I wish I’d thought to turn to social media for community and support such as Lottie’s page.

But we get there in the end! Hindsight is a funny thing.

In this episode, Lottie and I talk about our experiences, how the FODMAP diet should be used as a last resort for IBS treatment, how life is too damn short to not wear clothes that makes us feel great, why self-care is so essential for IBS (and for anyone for that matter!) and so much more.

If you’re struggling with IBS, or you simply you want to find out more about what it’s like to live with it, this episode is a goodun!

Next week for the final episode of season 1 (can’t quite believe it!!), I chat with my two ultimate faves, my sisters, about what it is to be a sister and our journey growing up together.
